On 18 November 2025, the Sustainable Gambling Conference (SGC), hosted by FDJ UNITED, returns with a new edition in Brussels. Under the theme “Collaboration for Impact: Safer Gambling in a Changing World,” this landmark event will bring together operators, regulators, researchers, advocacy groups, and international experts to drive forward safer and more sustainable gaming practices.

A key event for a safer and more sustainable gaming and betting industry

The Sustainable Gambling Conference has established itself as one of Europe’s leading forums to address the challenges of responsible gaming. Each year, it focuses on a central theme, exploring how the industry can evolve to ensure greater safety, transparency, and accountability.

In 2025, the spotlight will be on collaboration across the gaming ecosystem—from industry leaders and policymakers to academics and civil society—aiming to minimize gambling-related harm while fostering sustainable innovation.

Since its launch, the Sustainable Gambling Conference has taken place in several European cities, reflecting its international scope and commitment to diverse perspectives. Previous editions were held in Copenhagen (2019), Amsterdam (2022), and London (2024). 

The 2025 conference in Brussels, at the heart of Europe, will provide a unique opportunity to strengthen cross-border cooperation and explore collective solutions to the challenges of safer gaming.
