Virginie Christnacht appointed Chief Communications Officer of FDJ UNITED

Boulogne-Billancourt (France), 28 July 2026 – FDJ UNITED has announced the appointment of Virginie Christnacht as Chief Communications Officer for the Group with effect from 14 September 2026.

In this capacity, Christnacht will join the Group’s Executive Committee, where she will be responsible for defining and implementing FDJ UNITED’s communications strategy, further enhancing its reputation and raising its profile in France and abroad, as well as supporting the Group’s ongoing transformation as it executes its strategic plan.

Her wealth of experience in strategic communications, reputation management and executive support, which she gained during her time with leading public- and private-sector organisations, will be a ma-jor asset as we pursue our growth and transformation goals. Her in-depth knowledge of media-related, institutional and international issues will help raise FDJ UNITED’s profile among all of our stakeholders.

Christnacht formerly served as Senior Managing Director at international advisory firm Teneo, where she advised senior executives and executive committees, both in France and abroad, on issues related to strategic communications, reputation management, crisis management and public relations.

From 2018 to 2023, Christnacht served as Eurazeo’s Group Chief Communications officer and a member of its Executive Committee. In this role, she oversaw the investment group’s communications strategy during a period of transformation, led the roll-out of a new brand platform and raised its profile both in France and internationally.

She also previously held a number of senior positions within public institutions in France, serving as the Head of the French government’s Department of Communications (SIG) between 2017 and 2018 as well as Deputy Press Advisor to the Office of the French President between 2014 and 2017.

She began her career in the private sector, notably at Vinci, as well as at CNP Assurances and Dexia.

Christnacht holds a master’s degree in business law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a DESS postgraduate degree in corporate legal advice.
