FDJ UNITED-SUEZ reaches the top at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift
In 2026, FDJ UNITED-SUEZ is enjoying one of the most remarkable seasons in its history, with victories in some of the most prestigious events on the international calendar, including the Tour of Flanders, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the Giro d’Italia Women, and now the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
This latest success further confirms FDJ UNITED-SUEZ’s position among the world’s elite cycling teams. The squad currently leads the UCI Women’s World Team Ranking, while Demi Vollering also tops the individual world ranking.
A pioneering commitment to women’s cycling since 2017
FDJ UNITED has supported the FDJ UNITED-SUEZ team since 2017. The Group’s commitment reflects a strong conviction: women’s sport deserves the same ambition, visibility and opportunities for success as men’s sport.
This commitment to women’s cycling is also reflected in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, of which FDJ UNITED has been a founding partner since its launch in 2022.
Long before the race was created, the Group was already supporting La Course by Le Tour, held alongside the men’s Tour de France, and advocating for the return of a true multi-stage women’s Tour de France. The creation of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift marked a decisive step forward in the professionalisation of women’s cycling and in the recognition of female athletes at the highest level.
Today, the race has become one of the leading events in global women’s sport. With 26 million viewers in 2025, it continues to elevate new role models and inspire future generations of cyclists.
Beyond sporting performance
FDJ UNITED’s commitment to cycling extends far beyond sporting results. It is driven by a desire to contribute to the growth and visibility of a sport that is popular, accessible and inclusive, bringing together communities and generations.
Through its Cycling for Change programme, FDJ UNITED uses the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift as a platform to promote inclusion, encourage cycling participation and support sustainable mobility.
During the race, the Group partnered with the French Cycling Federation (FFC) to organise three mixed-participation cycling rides open to the public in Dijon, Montbrison and Sisteron, bringing together nearly 300 participants.
FDJ UNITED also rolled out its Remise en selle programme with the FFC, helping women supported by France Travail gain access to refurbished bicycles, safety equipment and dedicated coaching. The initiative aims to help participants learn to ride or build confidence on a bicycle, thereby fostering greater independence and mobility.
Free bicycle repair and maintenance workshops were also available in the host start towns, encouraging people to maintain, repair and use bicycles in their daily lives.
This historic victory is much more than a sporting achievement.
It is the culmination of nine years of commitment alongside the FDJ UNITED-SUEZ team and reinforces FDJ UNITED’s leading role in the development of women’s cycling.
As the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift continues to grow in visibility and inspire new generations, the Group reaffirms its determination to support, over the long term, the athletes and initiatives that help move sport forward.
