By bringing together the perspectives and expectations of its ecosystem, FDJ UNITED strengthens its ability to take societal expectations into account, anticipate the changes taking place within society, and guide its actions in a meaningful and responsible manner.
FDJ UNITED thus fosters a structured and ongoing dialogue with all of its stakeholders. This collaborative dynamic helps shape the Group’s vision, identify upcoming transformations, and co-create impactful and sustainable solutions that benefit everyone.

An in-depth, long-term dialogue with civil society
Guided by the values of respect, sincerity, and transparency, FDJ UNITED views dialogue with civil society as a driving force for innovation and transformation. This dialogue is based on a unique framework structured around three complementary bodies, established at key moments in the Group’s history.
This approach reflects a strong conviction: placing listening, co-creation, and responsibility at the heart of our actions, in pursuit of sustainable and meaningful solutions.
A Pioneering and Unique Approach
Starting in the mid-2000s, FDJ UNITED began a structured dialogue with the nonprofit sector, particularly in the areas of health, social services, and community outreach. Gradually organized around regular exchanges and working groups, these initial partnerships laid the groundwork for the Group’s proactive dialogue initiative.
In 2010, amid growing concerns about responsible gaming and the opening of the online sports betting market, FDJ UNITED took a decisive step by establishing the Expert Committee. This committee provides the Group with an independent, informed, and rigorous assessment of its offerings, communications, and player prevention and support measures, with the aim of enhancing their relevance and effectiveness.
In 2014, FDJ UNITED expanded its dialogue to encompass a broader ecosystem involving associations, researchers, and innovation stakeholders. As a forum for discussion focused on CSR issues, the Societal Laboratory fosters the collaborative development of innovative solutions. In this way, it helps enrich and advance the Group’s existing and emerging initiatives.
Following the Group’s privatization and the adoption of its purpose, FDJ UNITED established the Stakeholder Committee in 2020. Working directly with senior management, the committee serves as a forum for strategic and forward-looking discussion on cross-functional issues facing FDJ UNITED and monitors the implementation of commitments related to the Group’s purpose.
The Stakeholder Committee
Chaired by Agnès Audier, President of the Impact Tank, the Committee brings together 14 independent members representing the diversity of stakeholders with whom FDJ UNITED interacts. Since its creation in 2020, it has met three times a year, in the presence of the Group’s Chair and CEO and Deputy CEO.
The Social Laboratory
The Social Laboratory brings together some twenty representatives from civil society associations and organizations working on major issues such as solidarity, child protection, addiction and vulnerability, as well as social responsibility.
It formulates concrete recommendations aligned with the Group’s CSR priorities—responsible gaming, local impact, transparency, and the environment—and encourages the co-creation of solutions with FDJ UNITED’s business units.
Expert Committee “Responsible Gaming”
The Expert Committee brings together independent specialists in health, the humanities, and the social sciences.
Members analyze and provide advisory opinions on gaming offerings and promotional activities related to responsible gaming, as well as on prevention and support measures for players.
These discussions contribute to the continuous improvement of the Group’s responsible gaming practices, the evolution of its support systems, and the conduct of additional research or studies.
